Summer is here...almost. Stephen did go swimming in the 68 degree year round Barton Springs Pool the other day to start training for "triathlon season" and the kids went swimming in our neighborhood pool yesterday, but the water is still a little bit too cold for me. Carmen & the girls joined us for our first afternoon at the pool. It was really fun! As Carmen & I are blabbing, I look up to see Samuel SWIMMING in the "adult" section of the pool! This is a big deal, because last year he didn't swim at all & rarely even tried to swim! Maya, on the other hand, was a little bit more weary which is also the opposite of last year. She spe
nt a lot of time playing with Lillian in the itty-bitty pool. Stephen joined us as we were packing up, and we all played on the playground. Good Times!!
Our last visit to Stephen's fire station was a shift that he was driving. He was very proud to show off his gear in the "Driver's Compartment." Too cute!
The other day we went to the Home Depot Brush Fire Awareness Day where Stephen was working. They had a huge slide, popcorn, ice cream, a 3 foot lizard, wood-working,
fire trucks, and the Safety Fire House.
CONGRATULATIONS, RUDY!!
