Easter

We had a great Easter day. Stephen got off work at noon, and my parents came over for the afternoon. The kids and I colored eggs in the morning, and the Easter Bunny hid all of the 56 eggs in our little yard! He (or she-Samuel really wants to know!) also left a couple of presents inside. The kids had fun searching, but since Sunday was our first 100 degree day of the year, they were relieved to go inside. Mom & Dad were also very thankful that we decided to turn on the A/C for the day. It's funny because last year, we were all in winter coats and hats, because a cold front had moved through. After counting up all of the kids' egg money, Stephen grilled pork chops, and Mom & I made Asparagus Risotto. We also had some fresh baked French bread. It was a delicious meal, and we all had to "spread out" afterwards. We ended the day by Mom & I knitting while Samuel played with his new dragon, Maya "swam" in her new pool boat, and Steve & Dad discussed Bastrop land investments. AAAAAhhhh...the joys of the holidays! Hope everyone else enjoyed their Easter Day as much as we did. Happy Spring!!
