MFNP (so far)!

Day 5...

Glacier National Park is now My Favorite National Park (so far)! It is so amazing, beautiful, breath-taking!! We drove across the park on "Going-To-the-Sun" road. Every view was magnificent. We even got to see a teenage grizzly (8 ft from our car) and a bighorn sheep (2 ft away from us in the visitor center's parking lot)! The park just opened for the season after a huge snowstorm 2 weeks ago, so the kids (& Steve) got to play in the snow and throw snowballs at each other. In some places the snow drifts were clear over our head. We had a beautifully sunny and warm day to hike enjoy the mountains. It is the very beginning of Spring here, so we were too early for the wildflowers, but we saw some striking flowers and other flora. It is so strange to see completely different plants here (although, they have a beautiful and similar blue bonnet here). Also the days are so long! There is light in the sky for about 18 hours each day!

I just can't describe how awesome yesterday was! Oh yeah...the rivers!! We will have to come back and paddle sometime!

The Toyota and camper are holding up really well! Little Dog is having the most trouble. He is having some severe digestive issues :( We are hoping his little body will adjust soon.

Steve is the resident photographer among us, so most of our pictures are on our camera, but I'm trying to take some pictures to post here. (Make sure you click on the pictures to get the full shot. I can't edit the photo layout on my iPad.)

Next stop...Couer d'Alene, Idaho!

Day 5- 115 miles (all in the park), total-2151
