We are getting into the swing of Spring...Stephen is coaching the kids' soccer team, is on the board of directors for our HOA and just finished his 1st promotion test (he did very well). I am thinking about getting into shape to try on bathing suits and Cub Scouts is in full swing.
Our latest adventures with pictures to prove it:
A visit with Aunt Nicole. We haven't seen her in 3 years & have missed her dearly. We had a wonderful boat ride down the riverwalk, ate Italian food (I know, I know...Italian food in San Antonio???), swam in the hotel pool & got "mud-rained" on. Now you may have never heard of "mud rain" before, but it is true...mud was falling from the sky. Supposedly a dust cloud from Mexico collided with a rain cloud from Texas, result....mud rain! Aunt Nicole also presented the kids with their own iPod shuffles! They listen to them constantly and have commented numerous times how "cool" they feel.
While I was working 10-15 hour days at the Mommy & Me Sale, Stephen & the kids spent 5 days at my parents. Stephen helped my father put molding in his house, install some cabinets & made a mantle...yes, you heard me...Stephen designed and created a beautiful mantle for their pellet stove nook. My mom keeps going out to look at it because it makes her so happy. Go ahead & pass some gold stars to Stephen...he deserves them!
