Last Day-Last Post of 2006

We spent December 31st celebrating Samuel & Maya's birthdays at Sea World. (Sea World San Antonio is closed in January & February.)

Maya is tall enough to ride the Shamu Express by herself now. They waited in line to get in the front car.

We also went on the Texas Splashdown. Being Sunday morning, we didn't have to wait in line at all & we got to ride 3x's in a row!! This is about my limit for roller coasters, so for all of those thrill seekers out there, I have 2 kids who will be requiring your roller coaster co-riding services in the near future :-)
We took a behind the scenes with Shamu tour for a special treat. It was cool to see the "baby" Shamu that was born around the same time we went to Sea World last year. She was very curious & came up to the glass numerous times to check us out.

Backstage, we saw the other 5 Orcas getting ready for the show.

With the tour, we got the premium seats for the show. The show, Believe, was all about kids following their dreams. Yes, Grandmary, I teared up :-)

After Sea World, we attended the 2nd annual ball/box drop at the Cimato house. Joe & Cat are kind enough to host a child friendly New Year's Eve celebration where the ball drops at 8pm. It also has the added bonus of dropping the ball numerous times per requests from the kids.

The last picture of the year...Otis.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!
