24 On/48 Off

So, today was Stephen's first day back at a station after 6 months of being at the academy.  His schedule has returned to 24 On/48 off.  He goes into work at noon, returns home at noon the next day, then has the next day off, then returns to work noon the next day.  Working this schedule, he is off for at least 1/2 day EVERY day with every third day off.  I didn't realize how well this schedule works with our lifestyle until he had to work 6-6, M-F for 6 months.  Being back on the "station schedule," we can now all stay up late TOGETHER and sleep-in together, too!  This schedule also gives Stephen so much time to accomplish entries on his "To-do List" and it gives me the chance to "clock out" of my job and take some time to myself.  I can't tell you how grateful I am to be able to live in a way that resonates with all of us, and Stephen's schedule makes it all so much more doable and pleasurable.
