Sam & Maya were among 20 other children that put on a Halloween Carnival at the Whole Life Learning Center. Now this was not a typical Halloween carnival, because it was COMPLETELY planned and created by the kids with only minor organizational and supply assistance from the mentors and parents. They created a business plan and everything! There was a ticket booth, an arcade (all of the games made by the kids), a prize table, a face painting station, a cake walk, a minecraft booth, a haunted house, a craft table and a play! Samuel's main project was the play where he co-wrote, directed and acted. All of the hard work paid off, because it was a huge success! Everyone had fun, and they raised $153! All of the kids will decide together how the money is spent.
