Although a month has already passed, I am still relishing my first ride in a fire truck! After the 4th of July parade, I jokingly asked for a ride back home (we had walked about 5 blocks in 90 degree morning heat). Lieutenant Gibbons said, "Sure! Just be discrete about it." So, we climbed in the air conditioned cab & Stephen drove us home. I even got to wear a helmet! It reminded me of riding in a bus except there was a lot more life saving, super cool gear.

I think this is a HUGE misappropriation of the city's public funds if you ask ME! Heehee.
