1. An estate where wine is produced and often bottled.
2. A large country house.
So, I guess we will have to grow grapes and make some Nutty Brown Farm wine!!
Really, the house is coming along nicely and is very cute and cozy. Norman replaced the water line coming from the well. (Maya loved hiding in the big trench with her new BB gun!)
The porch windows have been installed and framed out.
The back door (which used to be the door between the porch and house) is
installed and framed out.
The rock work on the addition and plumbing are also being done now, so I'll have pictures soon to come of those. Joel & Kim have also decided on the outside stucco and trim colors, so we'll be getting on our paint clothes soon, too! We are also preparing for the BIG party at the end of the month, hanging lights, cleaning up and preparing an outhouse. The weather has been beautiful, so hopefully it will stay like this for the in-laws and birthday throw-down.
