Ranch House Update-Concrete!

Here are the latest pictures from the ranch house. They brought a cement truck all the way to the little house via dirt road through the property from Joel & Kim's entrance. They had to come in the long way due to a low tree over the creek road and the questionable stability of the creek bridge. Once the truck was in they poured the floor for the new back bedroom and second bathroom! They also closed up the "critter holes" in the master bathroom floor...yay!

We walked down to our favorite part of the creek to see what the drought has done to it. Well, it was still as beautiful as ever! There was definitely less water but it was still flowing (trickling) and the spring was still cold! The water was shallow enough for Little Dog to fearlessly jump through. He actually swam (or made an attempt to swim-it looked like a true "doggy paddle") across the deepest part, too! Sherman, the sheep, seemed to recognize us this time and requested lots of petting, even with Bella attempting to herd, doberman-style (lots of barking and jumping around).

The other picture is of the master bedroom's fireplace now that the room is cleared from all of the doors and moulding from demolition. Isn't the colored tile so sweet and just scream "1950 grandma love"?

I also ordered two books on flower farming and farmer's market tips since I HAVE to do something while waiting for the house :)

What will this week bring???
