Maya spent last weekend with Grammy ALL BY HERSELF!! Although she missed playing with Samuel, she completed her first quilt! Grammy introduced her to her very own sewing machine and they knocked out a complete quilt! My mother amazes me! It is so cute...mom and Maya's machines are sitting right next to each other. It makes my heart flutter. Maybe Maya will pick up all of the wonderful seamstress genes that I did not get :-)
Maya looks beautiful and so happy. I remember spending a summer with my Nanny making dresses, purses and just sewing up a storm. Sweet times.
