Well, I sent in my first assignment to Birth Arts International last night. This means that I have officially started my doula certification program. The last time I have studied was in college over 10 years ago! This time I am truly enjoying my study time. First of all, I have the flexibility to do the reading/assignments whenever I want. Also, it is just flowing-I don't have to push myself to do it. I enjoy it and know that this is where I should be and what I should be doing. It really feels good to have found one of my "callings" and following the opportunities that have been presented to me.
