Our Trip to CT

Samuel, Maya and I flew to Conneticut last week to visit Grandmary. We had a GREAT time, but it went by too fast! Here are the highlights with pictures...

The plane ride up.

Playing on Short Beach and kayaking in the Long Island Sound.
We arrived with the tide being very low. We were able to inspect all sorts of sea creatures (horseshoe crabs, clams, snails, sea weed, and much more). We then watched the tide come in very quickly and were able to launch the kayaks for a spin around the point. This was our day with Pop. He flew out to play lacrosse in Colorado the next day.

Getting Grandmary's mail is always an exciting adventure.

Children's Museum

Swimming at Mr. Stan's

Ferry ride from Bridgeport, CT to Port Jefferson, Long Island, NY
Now Samuel understands that we don't live on a "yuck-girl FAIRY" street.

Ice cream in Port Jefferson

"Losing" our car in the aquarium's parking garage.

Our trip to Shaw's Grocery Store

Rain, Rain, Go Away!!

Overnight stay in Hartford to catch our early flight home. The pool was heated and WONDERFUL!! We had dinner at "Tuesday, Wednesday" in memory of Nana.

Grandmary & Sam doing Suduko puzzles

Maya joined in with her "magic horsey" puzzle

Our good friends, Kris & Owen McCarter, came to BWI during our layover. 45 minutes was WAY too short of a visit for us :-(

Our trip home.

THANKS, GRANDMARY, FOR A SUPER-DUPER TRIP!!

WE LOVE YOU!
